I got many questions (just three) asking me what kind of places I perform in Moscow; what the venue looks like...and so on. Well, here is a one-minute video of the "Ukraine" hotel. Right? The name is so odd considering the current events. But that's been the name since the first day I moved to Russia.
Instantly, it became my most favorite spot in Moscow for so many reasons. On a side note, the Ukraine is in the middle of Moscow city, near the Moscow River.
I have performed several times in every venue located there, including Mercedes Bar and Buono. There was also a sushi bar on the first floor, but it's closed as of the date of this writing. Oddly enough, as many times as I have been there, I have never stayed in one of the hotel rooms.
At the very top of the hotel is a room called the "White Room." The general public is not allowed. It's one of the most luxurious rooms in Moscow. Completely white; drenched in pearls, lace, diamonds, and suede. OUUF!!! So nice. It's for only two people. Usually, guys take their girl up there to eat and propose, while enjoying the most amazing view of Moscow.
The interesting part is they can use names like Buono and Mercedes without being sued. Let me know what you think about the hotel.
